Mozart: Divertimenti & Eine kleine Nachtmusik

The three divertimenti could be called the juvenilia of a sixteen-year-old young man were it not for Mozart who had become a perfect master of his craft by that time. Known all over Europe he had already composed works and several operas for ten years. The popular pieces show Mozart in the composer’s full outfit. The consummation of the programme is Eine kleine Nachtmusik, which is an emblematic piece of the entertainment music of his time.
