Four of Hungaroton’s recordings have been nominated for the 2018 International Classical Music Awards (ICMA). In the Vocal Recital category, the jury picked the Debussy-album by Emőke Baráth and Emese Virág, in Solo Instrument, István Lajkó’s World Premiere Liszt-recording was selected; in Chamber Music, the CD entitled ‘The Great Fugue’ by Izabella Simon and Dénes Várjon was found worthy of the nomination, and in Best Collection: Zoltán Kocsis’ tribute album made it to the top finals – said Luxembourgish musicologist Rémy Franck, president of the ICMA jury, after the voting on the 16th of November.
